We celebrated our First Day of Summer by going to six different stores in our quest for summer toys. At the end of the day we had chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and two cherries on top at Olive Garden ($1.50). When we told our waiter that we were there to celebrate your graduation from kindergarten, he congradulated you on a job well done.
Our toy acquisitions for this summer included:
a slip and slide ($8.54)
two foam swords ($2.00 each)
2 cans of sunscreen ($6.00 each)
water squirt thing that you run through ($8.54)
The weather was incredible rainy and mom's hair went every which way. Mommy entirely gave up on looking presentable because we got drenched each time we stepped out of the car. It was a hair nightmare.
